Pierre Turin silvered bronze La Porteuse de Fleurs octagonal medal

A fabulous silvered bronze Art Deco medal by the French sculptor & medalist Pierre Turin. This octagonal medal is know as La Porteuse de Fleurs and the obverse depicts a young woman carrying a floral boutique on her shoulders. It is signed "P Turin". The reverse is blank save for the words "Concours Inventions Arts Menagers Toulouse" The rim is stamped "bronze" and bears the Cornucopia mark of La Monnaie de Paris.
